For the brides getting photo montage...

Are you having the DJ/Band play a clip of your ceremony prior to walking in as Mr & Mrs or prior to the toast?

The reason I ask is because my DJ informed me we are pumping all the guests up and he would have to turn the music off to play the clip of the ceremony and pump the music up again when we walk in...he said it's going to kill the introduction....What do you girls think?

Who's idea was it to do that? If it was his then it makes no sense. If it was yours, why don't you do it during dinner when everyone is already sitting?

It was the DJ's idea to do it before the toast and my idea to do it before we walk in, another words when he is about to introduce us as Mr & Mrs but the DJ said if we do before the toast FH and I get to see the small ceremony clip where as if we stand outside and he plays it prior to introducing us we are going to miss it.

Sorry but I have to post-

I have seen this done several times ( I am also having plasma's and montages) but this was one thing I did not like-basically they introduce your BP and then your guests are ready to start to party-but then they stop everything and show bits of the ceremony to music-and then announce you guys. Although I think it is nice to show the ceremony to the people who did not get to see it-I think it slows down the start and the intro-

jackie,,we are having them also,,,,but instead of doing it right before they introduce us,,they will be playing the clips while the guests are coming into the reception hall after CH...that way they have something to look at while waiting for us to come in....and then while we are dancing our 1st dance they will have som,e pics from the day showing..and then through the night as well...
