I met with the priest yesterday who is marrying us. He told me a handful of brides have told him bubbles stain satin...is this really true, has this happened to anyone?
I plan on using bubbles but if it really does stain I may have to consider using something else but that may be very difficult being my church does not allow anything else besides bubbles.

Someone told me that about 2 days before my wedding. I hadn't heard it before, went along with it and had no problems.

I am not getting married in a church, but this post reminded me of my dream last night... I dreamt that I was testing out different bubbles for the wedding.

I had purchased the bubbles and when I met with my priest yesterday he told me he has heard complaints from brides stating the bubbles stained their satin gowns. I'm not sure if he just said that so I don't do anything. My FH parish is very strict and is not allowing us to do much...they also decided to tell us last night the donation has increased to an additional $500.
I love when they say it's a donation yet they tell you how much you have to donate.

Thats interesting about the bubbles, our church lets us do the birdseads,, Our donation is 650, nice ' donation'
