You said FAT FINGER!!!!!

Seriously though, I guess I'd ask my dad to hold it. Definitely not FH, bc he would lose it!

my right ring finger has a much bigger knuckle than my ering finger, so it can't fit on that finger at all. i'm just gonna have one of my MOH's hold it during the ceremony, then she'll give it back to me before we walk back down the aisle, or when we get back to the bridal suite. there's no way i'm not wearing my ering at my wedding.

i was going to post my answer but then i thought of something....

im taking my pics before the ceremony.....so should we be wearing our wedding rings for the pictures??? it would be stupid if none of our wedding pictures had us with our rings on......but is that weird to wear our rings before we are married???

i was originally going to say that i was going to wear it on my left until right before the ceremony....FSIL switched hers that morning and in all her pre-ceremony pictures of her getting ready her ring is on her right hand and it looks weird to me.....

that's a good question! i'm also taking pics before the ceremony, and didn't even think about the rings. i guess you can wear them for the pics, then take them off before the ceremony and give them to the BM and MOH then.

I say wear the rings for the pictures! It doesnt matter!! you want to look back on those pics as your wedding day not as right before the ceremony and you have your e-ring on your right hand.

i wore my e-ring on my right hand--and we did pics before the ceremony. don't worry about this--the pics you do before hand won't have anything much to do with your fingers at all. a lot of family & romantics.

we did ring pics after the ceremony---just real quick to get them out of the way. i didn't want to wear my wedding band befor the ceremony.

as for the original poster---why not give your e-ring to the person who will be carrying the rings (such as the best man--and that way your FH can put the wedding band and e-ring on at the same time if you can't fit it on your right hand. otherwise i'd have someone hold it for ya and then put it on right after the ceremony!

I just wore mine on my left hand for the ceremony since it didn't fit on my right hand. Was I not supposed to do that? oops hehe. I took it off and held it in my right hand while DH put the wedding ring on my left hand. I don't think it really matters either way.

My cousin couldn't wear her finger on her right hand so I, her MOH, held on to it for her!! If you want, your MOH can hand it back to you right after you exchange rings.

I have huge fingers... my e-ring is a size 9. lol. thankfully though it gets my right hand too.

my friend had your same issue, she she kept her e-ring on her left hand up and until the vows. when she took the wedding band from her MOH she gave her the e-ring. at the end of the ceremony, the MOH gave it back to her.

Wear it on your left hand for any pre-ceremony pics. If it will fit on the right, switch it over on your way to the church. If it doesn't fit, give it to your MOH to wear or your mom.

I know youre supposed to wear your e-ring on your right hand during the ceremony because the wedding band goes on your left but my right ring finger is SO MUCH BIGGER!!! the ring doesnt fit!

Come on ladies, Lets do some finger work outs. . . it would be so much easier if we could wear in on our middle fingers, lol mine would be fit after a day

Even though my right ring finger is a little bigger than the left I managed to squeeze it on there somehow. Then I moved it back over later.

i'm having an engagement ring ceremony....not really a ceremony - just a few things said...it's really nice! i'll grab it & post...

my BM katie will have my e-ring...

“Kate, may I please have Jessica’s ring?

I have here in my hand, another ring with special
meaning, Jessica’s engagement ring. This ring was given with the promise that is fulfilled today. David, please put this ring on Jessica's finger, above her wedding band, so that your marriage will always be protected with the love that brought you here today.

May your hands be forever clasped in friendship
and your hearts joined forever in love.”
