For the crafty girls...

For the crafty girls...

I need the help of all you crafty girls. We were discussing placecards yesterday and throwing a lot of ideas around. We want something unique. My fiance said he liked the idea of having to DO something to see what table you are at (like have it on the inside of a cupcake wrapper and you have to eat the cupcake to find out. Or a glass and you have to drink something to find out) These sound fun, but impossible to do at a wedding. Can you guys think of something where you have to 'DO' something to get to see the table number? I'm counting on you!

How about getting personalized fortune cookies with numbers in them.. and you can make up tags with their names on it and something cute on the outside that will tell them to crack it open to see where they sit.. =)

You can do a jeopardy of sorts...

Instead of table numbers you can have location names and place card would have something like 'where jack and jill first met', 'where jack was born', 'where jill's family lives' etc.

This way they are forced to mingle with others to find out the answer in case they don't know.

on second thought, this could be disastrous. a bunch of people wandering aimlessly not knowing where to sit - scratch that...

It might make a mess though.

I was TOTALLY thinking of that! But I would have no clue how to make a scratch off

actually making a scratch off is really easy! I used to make them when I was little.

GOLD crayola crayon, cover it really well and press down hard then put out pennies with your wedding year on them! (the pennies could also be used for a wishing well, if you make a little sign to hold onto them.)
