For the girls who did/doing candy

How many lbs of each type of candy did you buy??? And how many 'jars' did you have?? What is the 'norm' of lbs per different candy...????

It really depends on the jars and type of candy.

We bought anywhere from 2.5 to 10 pds of candy. For the biggest jars, we needed about 10 pds. For the smaller ones, about 5lbs fit in each one.

You should definately do it in person if you can, because otherwise you can't see how much you get. I bought all of mine at Economy Candy and the prices were really good (comparable to anything else online)

I had 9 jars in total, also had a bunch of candy left but that's because my candy buffet was enough for like a 150 person wedding and I only had 50 lol Here's a pic I have...



For the bigger ones, those needed anywhere from 5lbs to 7.5lbs. The smaller ones about 2.5 lbs was more than enough.

I bought my candy from BJs and found the sizes they provide were perfect. We had so much candy left over at my e-party.
