? for the girls who used Jackie & Elena

I am looking for some info on them. Do you know where they are both located and do they both do hair as well? I''''m looking for advice for comparison.Thanks all

If you are talking about Jackie from I Make Up U (she advertises on this board)she works with a hairdresser named Margaret. I had them both come to me on my wedding day and we (me, mom, 2 bridesmaids) were all very happy with the results. I did a trial with them in the salon I think it was in Massapequa. They were average price wise, but the quality was way above average in my opinion.

I had my trial with Elena, my wedding is not until Nov. 2,2002. She does hair and makeup. She also stays with you until after your first dance as a bridal assistant. She helps you get dressed, does any touch-ups, works with the photographers to make sure that your makeup is not too heavy, not too soft etc...she also bustles your dress for you. She costs about $275 for the bride and $80 for the other women hair/makeup. I will give you one piece of advise..make sure that you really talk to the makeup/hair people. Don't just tell them that you want your hair up or down etc..really tell them what you like and don't like. Also, listen to them when they tell you stuff. They have years of experience with this stuff so they really know what looks good in photos and what doesn't. Elena's number is on the board, just do a search for it. She comes to your house on the wedding day which I think is much better than going to a busy salon and getting rushed.

I also used Jackie from imakeupyou. She was spectacular. Worth every penny. Her salon is in Massapequa. I highly recommend her.

I used Jackie for makeup and Margaret for hair. All I can say is wow!! Everyone said I looked beautiful and I even thought so myself (something that never happens!). They are worth every penny and do fantastic work. Also they will come to you.
