For the ladies who did hair & make-up at their house on their Wedding Day

How many girls did you have that required hair and make-up? Im trying to get a sense of the timing...

I have 6 girls (including me) + one flower girl that need hair and make-up. We need to be ready for pics w/ the photographer at 1pm (mass is at 3pm)....how did the morning flow for you?

I have one person doing hair and one person doing make-up. Hoping thats sufficient.

it really depends on what everyone is getting done (updo's or not, fake eyelashes, etc). It'll take approximately 1/2 hour per person for hair or makeup (so an hour total for both) ... you will take about an hour each though (2 hours total).

you should speak with your hair and makeup artist to be sure though.

yea, they assured me we're fine...but always like to hear first-hand experiences.

Everyone is having a simple style done and minimal make-up so that will help.

thats smart, Ill do that too.

I want to create an itinerary for that morning, in addition to my contact sheets w/ vendor info.

Moreso for me, so I know how we're running. Ill let my sister hold it tho so I dont go crazy

I have 9 girls, plus me, my mom and FG...so total of 11 people. I have two people doing hair and 2 doing makeup. We need to be ready by noon...starting at 6 am!!!

I'm a total of 6 girls (4 BMs, Mom & me) and we have two hair & two makeup people coming. Start time at 9am, finish by 12.

i had 11 ppl for hair

5 ppl for makeup

edited to add: we had one hair person and one make up person. they just got there early in the a.m.

including me there was 6 girls for both hair & makeup. we started at 10:30/10:45 and finished at 4/4:15 so about 5 1/2 hours.

Me, my sister, SIL & two flower girls all had our hair done by the same person. Me, my sister, my mom & SIL had our make-up done by another person. Make-up lady was at my house.

To give you an idea of the morning:

Hair:
Me 7:30-8:30am
My Sister 9-10am
SIL & Flower Girls 10:30am-11:30am
(my sister & I had our hair clean & blown out)
(my SIL went with her hair wet & just got a blow out & the flower girls just had simple curls, short hair)

Make-Up: (she was really fast & really good)
Me 8:30-9:30am
Mom 9:30-10am
My Sister 10-10:30
SIL 11:30-12

Our pictures started at 11AM (photographer & videographer arrived at the house at 10AM to set up, they where ready to go at 11 but I don't think I was dressed until 11:30, I was too busy texting DH ) & the Church began at 2PM.

I had the same exact situation....makeup started i think at 9 and hair started at 10.

i had 6 people (that included me). my hair girl came at 6:30am because she wanted us ready by 12ish. my photog came at 1

5 girls getting hair done...start time was 5:45 am and i had to leave my home at 2, photog came at 12:30.

i had another girl who did my hair and everyone elses makeup. she came around 10 and caused me to be LATE !!!

I had 9 people getting hair and 6 people getting makeup (including myself for both). I had a hair stylist and assistant and one make up artist. My hair person had to be done by 11 cuz she had another wedding to do and our church was at 2 so sh started about 7 and ended at 11. Make up person started around 10:30ish and ended around 12:30ish i think? Everything timed out really well. My hair person actually had sent me an itinerary which really helped. I just put in peoples names for the time slots and told them what time to be by my house.
