Re: for the married ladies......
it took us a little longer--we just got ours last week and i had to call the city clerk's office....i think our officiant didn't send it in right away but who knows! where did you apply for it? if it happens to be in queens, i still have the lady's number at the clerk's office. :)

Thanks for the offer to give the number but I actually got it in Hempstead right on Penn. Blvd. by Clinton Rd.

Mine took about 3 weeks, maybe a few days more. Don't worry, it will come.

Re: for the married ladies......
Ours took about 10 days. I have heard from ladies that if you got it in the city it takes longer. It doesn't hurt to call.

Re: for the married ladies......
I actually had to go back to the clerk's office (1 CTR ST NYC) where I got my license. They found it in a drawer with a stack of others - someone had started on them, didn't finish and left the stack in the drawer! I'm so glad I went there in person or who knows when I would have gotten it. Or, try calling where you got it (if it's in the suburbs- probably easier to get someone from the clerk's office on the phone).
