for the married ladies: enveloped gifts, how much did you get back poll

i'm just curious what percentage you got back from the enveloped gifts.... please share!

do you mean how much money we were gifted?

on average, we got about $100 per guest that came (some gave more, some gave less).

i would say we got back what it cost us for just the RH... so not including what we spent for vendors and other things...

We got back what we paid for the RH + 3K (even with 10 no-gifters). Wayyyyy more than I was expecting...super grateful!

We got back what we paid for the RH plus about $6000 more!

This post got me interested in finding out the stats of my wedding... We received an average of $194 per guest (children are 1/2 a guest) (not including no-shows). We had some very generous guests who made up for the 7 no-shows and the 3 no-gifters (not including cousins who are considers 'adults' but still under their parents gift)... We were $9600 short of the whole wedding - soup to nuts, not including the HM.

We got back about $5K less than what the RH cost.
