I ordered a 10 gift card box back in November, my wedding is 2 weeks away and I still haven't received any correspondence, picture or anything from For the modern bride. When I e-mail them, I get an auto generated e-mail and the production dates keep changing.
I noticed some girls on here ordered boxes too and some wedding dates are after mine. Did you guys lie about the wedding date? I should've done that. How was your experience?
Tip...anyone thinking of ordering and want to get their box a bit early, give them a fake date...I won't be getting a pic of my box until Monday, then hopefully by Tuesday I'll get the box. I have to say this process has been a bit annoying. I should've made my own.

i'm sure ppl gave fake dates, i should have done that but thought that i might want our date on the box so obv couldnt. But i thought i'd get it maybe a month before, a week before is absurd.
thats how their process works but believe me..its worth the wait... if always comes a week or so before the wedding...no worries...yuo are going to be happy when yu get it! Mines in my album!

Frankly the later I get mine the better. My mom is the tacky police and thinks card boxes are tacky. Go figure. So I'll be really glad if I get mine the week of. I'm literally taking it, hopping in the car, driving the 3 minutes to Royalton from my house, and handing it over to Gerard!!! He will then take care of it and make sure that the day of the wedding it's sitting behind us on it's pedestal at reception My mom can't really do anything about it at that point, except admire how GORGEOUS it is!! I love their products!!! It's all worth it for me. In my case, their system works out. I gave them my correct date. I do think though, that for a lot of people it can be really inconvenient for it to arrive at the last minute...I read their FAQ thoroughly and understood the timeline when I ordered. I just took this from the FAQ:
'Generally orders are completed and then shipped 2 OR MORE weeks before each event date. When your order is about to begin, we will send you an email notifying you of production and your card box will be completed with 24 hours. When completed, it goes to the Studio to be photographed and then once the picture is available it will be emailed to you promptly prior to shipment.'
So it sounds like you should get the box about 2 weeks prior the event. Any less than that is a problem in my opinion. Especially if there has been zero communication and the production notification email they mention hasn't even been sent out. I would get their number and call them. Good luck ladies.

funny, my mom feels the same way about the card boxes but I thought it was a nice idea. None of my fam or friends have ever done it so I thought it might be different.
I agree, their boxes look beautiful and I'm sure I'll be happy with the product. I read their FAQ's and was fully aware of production schedule. It's just that I e-mailed them end of February for a status. I received the auto e-mail saying I would get my box on or before 3/12. Today is 3/12 and I never heard from anyone, regarding they started production, I never got a pic or a tracking number. I e-mailed them again today. Again I don't receive a personal e-mail response just an auto e-mail now saying I'll get it on or before 3/14. I e-mailed again and called and finally they tell me I'll get a pic on Monday 3/16 and then they'll ship it out. It would've been nice to get a personal e-mail saying they are delayed and this is the correct production schedule since the auto e-mail is not accurate.
So the FAQ is not accurate either because once I do actually have product in hand it's less than 2 weeks away instead of 2 or more weeks. If I was notified of this, fine, but I had to reach out a couple of times to get this info which is annoying and what if I don't like it...too bad for me I guess.

They should have contacted you FOR SURE by now. Not ok. I would not wait, though. I would call them asap. That's the best solution.
