Should we do beer, wine, and soda OR a full open bar??? We are on a tight budget and we are trying to budget. We don't have big drinkers.

Re: For the RD...
Beer wine and soda will be more than enough, especially since there won't be big drinkers there.

Re: For the RD...
I did beer, wine and soda and if someone orders a mixed drink I will have the restaurant just add it to our tab - most of the bp are beer/wine drinkers anyway.

Re: For the RD...
honestly, we didn't do either- DH's parents didn't want to pay for it - and I don't think anyone noticed or cared.

Re: For the RD...
Definitely just beer, wine and soda. If you think there may be people that have liquor, you can always run a tab and pay for it at the end.

Re: For the RD...
My in-laws aren't including the bar in the dinner, b/c so many people may or may not want it, so soda, tea and coffee are included, but it will be a late night RD and an early morning wedding, no one should want to drink heavily.

Re: For the RD...
Beer, wine and soda is plenty for the rd - you are providing enough alcohol for the wedding :)

Re: For the RD...
We're actually just having a few pitchers of beer and a couple of bottles of wine placed on the tables...(RD is casual)
It worked out less expensive than including it in the price per person, since we had a lot of people who won't drink
