For the summer brides

I'm having a hard time with bridesmaid dresses! Would love to hear what you ladies are doing for the summer months.

Are you having long or short bridesmaid dresses?? What kind of style and material did you choose? And what color?!

I am doing navy blue. My dresses will be long, but will be chiffon, which is pretty light and flowy. I think the girls will be fine - only my ceremony is taking place outdoors.

For the summer brides - Long Island Weddings

I ended up with short silk chiffon dresses from J Crew in cobalt blue. They look great on all body types and also come in a long version if you decide to go the route. The one thing is that the only store you can try them on at is in Manhattan but after the girls all tried them on and picked their styles (I'm letting them choose their own style) we were able to order them online during 25% off store wide sale which helped with the price. Long strapless dresses... shantung material which is nice and light. Nothing is taking place outside with the exception of some pictures... but I only have a MOH so they won't even take very long!
