For the TTC'ers

I am NOT TTC, but I lurk here all the time, and I was just thinking that it must be really tough every time that there is a new preggo announced. While I'm sure on one hand you're happy for them, it also must hurt somewhat.

I made a poll so you can be anonymous, but how does it feel when someone 'comes out'?

I'm not afraid to post what I feel - I am really rtuly happy for the girls who have announced their Pregnancy. At the very same instant, I'm so jealous and it kills me inside - only because I want it to be me

Same here!!!

When I told a girlfriend of mine that my sister was pregnant, she admited that she cried for me, cause she knows how much DH and I want a child.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

But I will add that it depends sometimes on how they break the news.

Some people who know we're struggling with TTC are kind of insensitive about it when they tell me and DH. Going on and on about how easy it was and it was an oops and are we doing this and that like we're stupid. But I guess it's hard to know the right thing to say.

Funny thing is, I'm more genuinely happy for the girls on this board when they 'graduate' to the parenting board than I am for some of the people I know in 'real life'.

I am not TTC yet, but, we will be soon. I am posting a little more and more on these boards and learning a lot!
I like to be here for people and read a lot of advice. I am happy for those who 'come out'. I think its great.
My sister is younger than me and has her first baby. At first I didnt know how to feel, but, I am so happy for her and couldnt love my nephew/godson anymore than I do!
When I am TTC I will probably have tons of questions. I will be on here congratulating people and asking for advice.
Like I said, no, it doesnt hurt!

I'm also not TTC yet (still hesitant since the m/c in Feb). Though I'm genuinely happy for everyone's great news, I still feel jealous when I hear of pregnant women... whether it's an announcement, or an update on their pregnancy status. It always reminds me of what my progress would have been by now (6 mons this week).
