the cake that will be used for cutting will be a plain pound cake...it actually saved me money ..willanyone care or notice???

i don't think so.
we had different flavors and no one noticed that one was never cut and served.
i think the only way people would really notice, if the difference was between chocolate and yellow... that, you can't miss. almost everything else will look the same from a distance.
