For thenewbies..

he picked me up really early, blindfolded me, and started driving in circles. doing u-turns, make lefts and rights...when we finally arrived at the destination, he helped me out of the car. He was talking to me and helping me walk. When we stopped, i heard footsteps and a clicking sound. He took the blindfold off, i realized where i was....at the park where we first met! he made small bouquets of roses wrapped with pink ribbon and tied them to the post of the swings and on the fence. There were rose petals all over the floor. and the footsteps and clicking i heard was my friend taking pictures.

anyway, he sat me down on a swing where there was a single rose and was pushing me on the swing. and then he got down on one knee. it was very sweet!

He knew that if he did anything out of the norm...I would know something was up.

Early on a Saturday morning he said he had to go get his oil changed...he was gone most of the day and I was kind of fuming that I had to clean our apartment totally by myself that day and how long does an oil change take anyway?

When he finally got home he was armed with Wendy's(my weakness) and said he just wanted to stay home and watch a movie. I was totally trying not to be excited about the burgers lol and continue to let him know it was not fair I cleaned up after him all day.

He suggested we watch a romantic movie and I was like ' for what' I totally want to see American Gangster (secretly I am obsessed with gangster flicks but thats another post)

Strike 2 for him in my mind...I cleaned all day and now I could not watch the movie I wanted (such a brat)
I ended up falling asleep during the movie like he knew i would and as I was sleeping he put the ring on my pillow. I am a light sleeper so he knew i would at some point open my eyes and I sure did...and boy when I saw that ring did I feel like a ding dong...

It was soooooo perfect because he was planning it the entire time and I had no idea...not even a suspicion...it was the best surprise ever!!

I had school on Saturday and had the worst day ever. FH picked me up and he would not tell me where he was going. Our 3 year anniversary was a week later soI thought he might be doing something cute for it. He even got a hair cut but I was in such a bad mood I didn't notice. I notice on the way signs going to the Vanderbuilt museam (our first real date) and I aske if we were going there and he was like F@#$% and then said YES He said he wanted it to be a suprise. We got there and when we got out of the car I looked for a ring box bulge in his pocket but did not see one. So at that point I knew he wasen't going to pop the question(little did I know). We went to the rose garden and he said 'let me show you pics of our vacation' I didn't see the pics in his camera from our vacation a week earlier. So I was excited to check them out. After the last vacation picture there was a video and it was a stuffed frog( on our first date he killed a baby from by accident by stepping on it an I pick on him all the time about it) telling me how much FH love me and it told me to turn around-I turn around and he is on one knee-I was histericle crying. I was not expecting it out all. It was the happiest day of my life. I find out later on that my parents knew because he took them out to dinner the night before to ask them and they told me they were going to the casino I fell for it ha ha . =
