For those brides who will have kids attending reception...

Are you going to have a wedding day coloring book or activity set? I'd like to do this but haven't found much except on oriental trading...what do you think? any other suggestions?

also...what are you getting your flower girls? what do you think of these small gift bags?

I saw the same things on Oriental trading. The flower girl thing is adorable, but the ring bearer and kids stuff....

May i suggest putting together something yourself? Buy a few coloring books, a pad of paper, etc. Make the centerpiece on the table where they're sitting be a bucket of crayons. If you have kids sitting with their parents, instead of a favor - put the bucket of crayons on their place setting... I'd think it'd be cuter to do your own (not to mention cheaper) and it's more personalized..

I'm actually getting them those markers that only write on paper, not walls, table clothes, ect... Just to avoid any disasters.

my best friend is an artist.... so part of her gift to us was to make a custom coloring book. She asked for pics of all the kids coming, made drawings of each of them and us, and printed them up. Our florist set-up a coloring station and the kids loved it. We even sat down and colored with them for a while

It was lots of fun......
