I just wanted to give tje Moms-to-be something to think about. I originally bought a stroller/infant seat travel system too. However, I have found it soooo much easier to use the lightweight stroller frame (the Snap-n-Go LX) with just the infant seat. This frame is compatible with many different infant seats on the market, so you can still consider using it during the first 6 months while the baby is still under 25 pounds. It is an absolute dream when traveling, and since it's less expensive, I didn't care as much if the airline broke it.
I am thankful that I decided to use this option b/c my travel system stoller is not getting banged around and trashed during these early months. So, when Paul is ready for the larger stroller, it will still be in 'like new' condition.
Just something to consider, so that you get the most use out of your travel system OR save yourself from having to buy a travel system and just get separates.

Re: For those considering a travel system...
Hi Claudine-
Thanks for the comments from your experience. What you are saying makes me feel good about my choice. I heard that about travel systems and upon advice from Mom's like yourself, I decided early on that I didn't want a 30 lb. stroller!! I ended up choosing the Combi Ultra Savvy stroller. It weighs 14 lbs. and has a changeable napper bar where you can snap the infant car seat into it. Plus it has other great features like a fully reclining seat & easy fold up.
It's always good to hear the feedback from those who are already using these this stuff.
