I plan on doing them. This way we can list all of the parents and bridal party members. Also, even though we're not doing any readings, we still want to list everything we're doing. In our case, we're interfaith, so we'd like to list the exchange of rings, the vows, the drinking of the wine, the lighting of the unity candle, etc.

Yes, we are doing a fairly basic one to outline the ceremony and list parents/bridal party

We are having programs. We are doing readings as well as a unity ceremony. We are also having an interfaith ceremony so I thought it would be nice to explain certain traditions and why you do them. I think you could really go either way.

Yes, I am . We are having a reading, the unity candle ceremony, the family medallion ceremony as well as lighting a memorial candle for FH's mom. That will all be in the program.

yes, i had them. even though I didn't have any readers or songs, I still wanted to formally thank our bridal party and parents. I also included the readings in case anyone wanted to read along. And I outlined the ceremony. Michaels and A.C. Moore sell great DIY kits for around $40

Here is an example of one from a wedding at the RH

I wouldn't have done them, but we're doing a filipino ceremony and thought I should have explanations...otherwise, I'd say skip it!

i've thought about it, but too time consuming. plenty of other things to do. i think programs are optional when you're pressed for time.

We only have a 30 min time limit on the ceremony so we're not doing programs.

We're going to do them because we're doing a unity sand ceremony & i want everyone to understand what it is.
I found a great website for them - their cheapest is 70 for 100 programs!!! I was going to DIY - but didn't want the stress of it!

I will probably do something like the one posted - I think that's perfect. Simple and elegant. We only have a MOH and Best Man, and my FH is so shy that he wants the whole thing to be done in 10 mins ... I keep telling him it will take at least 20 .. we are not doing vows, just saying I DO, maybe having one reading (who would do it is a tough question ... ) ... so I think a brief explanation of who everyone is, something that can serve as a memento, would be nice.
