For those getting married in a church

How do you plan to decorate it? FH and I just met with our pastor last week and he asked us how we plan to decorate the church. I don't know!

Any Ideas?

We're having the flowers on the alter, bows with flowers on the first 10 pews and flowers on the Virgin Mary

We are doing flowers on the alter and flowers every other pew... simple though - dont wanna spend a lot of money on the church

i dont even know if im going to be able to decorate due to the fact we are getting married during lent

Same here and I plan to make a huge white floral wreath for the church also.

We are having bows on every other pew (12 in total) on both sides and some sort of small flower in them...nothing too crazy!

Well.. I sorta wasn't really planning on decorating the Church. I'm also getting married the Saturday after Easter so the Church may already be decorated.

I would rather not spend alot of money since we will only be there for 30 minutes and honestly I think my Church is real nice. If anything, we may go to a local florist and have them prepare a basket or maybe a plant.

We are decorating our church the same way that Laura is. We're going to do simple flowers probably cala lilies for the alter, bows with carnations for the pew and we're going to have the florist do a small arrangement for the Virgin Mary.
