Who did you use and how much did it cost? I don't want any cheesey stuff, just a video. I want to pay less than a thousand if possible. I just rather put the money into photography and I feel like ANY video is better than NO video. Thanks girls.

I just don't see the point. Especially because JT is a filmaker, he knows how much this stuff costs, and he feels like he rather pay someone who is starting out with cheaper equipment than have to cover the costs of the expensive equipment a more experienced videographer has.

well, we KNOW we want a video of it.....but like you, it does not ahve to be all glitzy and no interviewing, no cheesiness...just a basic video, enjoying seeing everything and keeping it memorable....liek you, not concerned about new equipment, HIGH HIGH tech....but want a nice job done!

I was looking for this initially, the best price I found was for an unedited video by Duet--$600

Yeah, my MOH is an indie filmmaker and would have a FIT if I paid $1500. She'll have a fit if I pay $800, which is what I think I'm gonna do. She's pretty certain we can get it shot, edited and put on a DVD for $500. If I used the people she knows it might be doable, but I also wanted someone who had done weddings before, at least to shoot.
The people on my list all do have pretty decent equipment though - I'm pretty certain they all have 3 chip cameras, if not all wireless mics.
I lean towards Randi and Craig Seeman of Thrid Planet Video, but I liked all of their demos.
