I had one done before and she only had one glove on. lol. I thought it was weird. My sister recentely got one and she said the lady didn't use gloves at all. I was wondering what the standard practice is. I'd prefer gloves but maybe they can't because of the wax?

I have been going to the same place for years and she doesnt use gloves. the wax would stick to them

i have one done once a month! fh loves it and if it makes him happy then im happy..lol...

ive been going to this lady for almost a year now.. shes korean,, one of my bf is korean so i asked her if i should ask my girl to wear gloves.. and she said that would be insulting.. so i havent asked, but i would much rather her wear them! but if you guys have girls who wear gloves then i think i should ask!! but do they get stuck on the wax??

anyway, the lady i go to is AMAZING... after the first few times of getting it done, it really doesnt hurt as much anymore, and she does SUCH a good job... plus she charges me the regular bikini wax price of $15!! if anyone lives near Hicksville and you want the name of the place, fm me...!

Elizabeth Arden (in Westchester). I know they have one in Roosivelt Field. They are pricey but they use a special wax that hardens so you do not have to use strips to get the wax off. I have very sensitive skin and this is the best wax I have ever used. No bumps, no ingrown hairs. In between sessions I just trim with a pair of scissors until I can't take the growth anymore. I only get a brazillian if I am going away and will wear a swimsuit, otherwise I just keep it neat for the cheaper price, which is about $40. I know its pricey, but I just can't use the wax with the strips.

The first time I got a brazillian I took 2 Aleve and used bikini zone so I wouldn't feel as much pain. Now, I go with out the meds.

I go to Nature's Touch in Setauket. I've done it 3 times so far, each time with a different girl, and they've all worn gloves. I think it would gross me out if they didn't.
