For those having Band AND DJ

How did you decide who plays when?

My DJ will play all songs for the intro, first dance, father/daughter, mother son, etc etc.... I also want the DJ to play some real dance music toward the end of the night.

Band will do all else inbetween.

My band did all the requests and first dance, parent dances and all of the MCing. I wanted them to play more. I had a DJ for the hour of OT mostly. They will work it out. I'm sure bands and DJs play together all the time. You have to tell them though if you want one or the other to play certain songs.
