For those having ceremony at RH

Was there anyone who you want/wanted just to attend say the ceremony and possibly cocktail hour? How did you/your hall handle this? for example, people who come to see you at the church usually...

ETA: This is the situation. We are not inviting my mother's co-workers. However, one of them (who I know pretty well) made a comment saying 'Where is the church? I really would love to see her get married.' So I feel bad, and I think it is awkward but my mom was like 'What can we do?' So, I don't know how to handle it. I guess just say 'I'm sorry. There is no church, it is a small ceremony at the same location as reception'. What do you think?

I got married at my hall. But I don't know how they would handle this. I mean, I guess that people could just come and then go to the CH (if you wanted them to) and then they would leave on their own.

But honestly, I don't know if I would do that to someone....

I don't think I'd want to put someone in that position.

yikes...that's a tough one. very awkard. i think your mom should just say 'Well, it's not a church ceremony, just a small one at the RH, and we had to limit the amount of people for the ceremony.'

if you go the other route, it will probably be a bit hurtful to the co-worker. ('u can come, but can't eat!')
