I just thought I would post the link of my proofs for anyone who might be using or looking into using them. My photographer was Doug and he is FABULOUS. However, I do feel that all of the photographers at Patken are wonderful as well.

First of all... you look BEAUTIFUL in those pictures! It looks like you had a PERFECT day!
Second of all, you're almost my vendor twin! I'm using a lot of the vendors you used... including, thank GOD - Doug from Patken! Every time I see more of his work, I get more and more excited that he's doing our wedding! He's soooo artistic and natural! Worth the $$!

Here is something interesting. The owner used to be my landlord.. he owns houses and rents them out..it's funny seeing his name on here. The owner's name is Kenny and his wife is patricia I believe Doug is their son.

Doug charges a bit extra, yes. I feel this is because he is so busy with training and seminars all over the world that he only does a limited number of weddings per year. I don't feel that it is because he is the owner . . . . .
If it can be budgeted, the extra charge is WELL worth it.
Believe me when I tell you that to this day when my wedding is discussed, one of the first things they say is how awesome Doug was as a person. Not only is he talented, he is just a great personality to have around on such a crazy day!

I believe their packages start somewhere between 2500 and 3000, but I can't be too sure. It has been nearly 3 years since I have booked them and I am sure prices and packages have changed. Your best bet is to give them a call.

Very well put! I agree whole heartedly! My brother had Doug take the pictures for HIS wedding, and he just kept us laughing all day. He can make anyone and everyone look like a model... so naturally. Originally, we weren't going to book Doug because he was more $$, but my mom wanted me to have the same experience that my brother did 6 years ago (before Doug was more money! How lucky was my brother!?!? lol) and have the same picture. Besides, my FH HATES taking pictures, so we desperately needed someone that would make it fun and painless for him... and that's Doug!
You're right... Doug does seminars and photo sessions all over the world, so that is probably why he's more $. They even fly him to Hawaii for photo sessions! I'm using the owner for a few of my other vendors, and their the same price as everyone else, so I think his experience is why he's more. But, IMO the pictures are SO WORTH it! These days, Patken starts just over $3,000... plus the extra $$ for Doug.

Click there, and you'll see a lot of his work of all different events. I could look at his pictures for hours! .
