For those making CD's

Can you share what songs are going to be on your CD's?
Are they all going to be from the wedding?

only our first song is one that will definitely be from the wedding. the others are on Michael's list, but unclear whether they will be played.

We have quite a crazy, eclectic collection of songs that for us were important to one or both of us at some point in our lives. So our list is a little wierd. Plus, it is not all love songs at all. We have everything on there from Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra to Cat Stevens, Van Morrison, Led Zepellin and Stevey Wonder. Plus, I had to add a song from the original Muppet Movie (don't ask!). My dad thinks we are crazy, but it actually came out okay.

Just go with your gut and have fun with it!

When we did our wedding Cd the only song on it from our wedding was our 1st dance song.

We're going to put all the songs we use for those important moments like walking down the isle, father-daughter dance, garter toss, etc. It's such an easy favor to do so might as well give them the most we can....

I think CD's are such a great favor but I wouldn't know how to beging making them or labels & covers. Wish I had a very talented friend!

It took me a long time to decide on the songs for the CD. But the labels were easy. You can download templates at Avery.com in the software section for the labels, booklets, and tray liners (for jewel cases).

I got the blank CD's, jewel cases, labels & tray liners on ebay really cheap. It's just taking me a long time to burn the CD's. Feel like I'm in my own version of March Madness.....

I used to work for a copy that would sell the blank cd and print out the insert and tray card for the bride and groom. They would m=not burn the cd's because of the rights with all the songs. Most couples burned the cd's at home.
