For those not getting married in a church...

What song will you be using for the processional, bridal march and recessional?

Are you going to go traditional or contemporary?

the bp walked in to canon in D, but i walked down to plainsong by the cure, then for our recessional we played regret by new order.

Neither. I'm going with my own weird and obscure classical pieces.

While the guests arrive, they will be playing all the movements of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

I'm deciding between a few selections of Bach for the other parts of the ceremony.

my bridal party is walking down to an instrumental song by the Corrs called Rebel Heart

I'm walking down to the traditional 'Here comes the Bride'

Recessional - we're looking for the rock n roll guitar version of the traditional recessional song

BP and parents walked in to 'By Your Side' by Sade. I walked down to 'PLease PLease Please Let Me Get What I Want' which is a cover of a Smiths song by Dream Academy. The recessional was 'Bittersweet Symphony' by the Verve.

bridal party is walking down to string quartet version of yellow by coldplay and i'm walking down to an overture from a japanese conductor. recessional is all you need is love by the beatles.

Ugh, I haven't thought about music really yet. I like songs that aren't very wedding like.... Fur Elise and Greensleeves- ha ha when it comes to classical that is. I am also thinking of Bitter Sweet Symphony or something as recessional, not sure though. Ugh, so much to do. I'm so behind!

We are getting married at the hall as well though.

i love yellow! With the string quartet, that must sound so beautiful!
