I don't want to buy heels higher than 2.5 inches because I always take them off and switch to flip flops at weddings lol- I don't want my dress to be hemmed to higher heels and have it drag all over the floor when I take them off. I'm also looking for dark purple shoes as well. If any of you got lower heels or flats let me know where you got them!

I'm in the same boat! I'm short, only 5'3, but FH isn't that much taller than me and I never ever wear heels. I feel like wearing heels would not only make me so uncomfortable at my own wedding but I would rip them off and drag my dress in the floor like you said.. And I'd be being untrue to myself! My sister things I'm crazy lol

I plan on getting 2.5inch heels since I'm already pretty tall - around five eight, five nine. I will probably change into wedge flip flops after. Definitely not the most attractive but more comfy than heels AND my dress won't drag!

I'm short but I never wear heels. I like the idea of a small heel, and I like the way they look but I'm still on the fence on what I should get. Maybe I'll go crazy and wear cowboy boots...hey I have a rustic wedding going on haha.
But for the record that website www.shoesofprey.com lets you design flats and kitten heels too... so you can always make 'dressy' flats in any color/style

They are a light, powder blue almost. Not dark AT ALL!!

I was originally planning on wearing like... 5 inch heels since FH is 6'6' and I'm 4'10'. I decided that I'm going to wear flats now because the dress will be too long and I don't want it to drag too much or trip over it lol.

I need comfy too. I am missing that female gene where I am able to suffer for shoes lol. They are fab looking for sure lol..But I guess I should focus on a dress first! lol
