My hall provides them. Are you sure your hall doesn't?

I've seen them really cheaply on oriental trading or you could probably get them on e-bay

I bought very pretty blank placecards that are shimmery from Paper Access. It is an Italian paper called Stardream. I am then having my calligrapher write them out. She said she only needs one day to complete them.

i got mine done by inkspun.com. i e-mailed my order late thurs. night and received them in the mail yesterday. they came out great and i didn't have to do a thing. they cost $.39 a card- this includes the printing and the card. i first had him send me samples and then went from there. i would highly recommend them. i too hated the cards the hall gave me, plus i would have to write them all in!

Mattituckprincess,

Do you have a pic of yours ???

their site does not give good pics of the raised border.

teach2be- i didn't take pictures of them. to be honest, i'm not quite sure how to post them. i'll try but it may not do it justice. when i called and asked him to send me samples (free of charge, no obligation) i asked him to send me 2; one in white and one in ivory, one with Mr. & Mrs.... and one with Bert & Jean...., and each one in a different font. it really helped me make my choices. i was initially nervous as to the paper stock but everything was fine.
