We have 2 1/2 hours in between and my mom is 1000000000000% against her going back to the house with fam members. She said her, FMIL, 3 Aunts and an uncle will just go to the RH.
umm... and what might i ask are you going to do for those 2 1/2 hours. Ok i'll say 1 1/2 cuz i'm taking fam pics around 6.

My parents, FIL, aunts and uncles are going back to my house..my mom is going to have bakery goods and coffee out...we have 3 1/2 hours in between our church and RH

They'll probably go back to the hotel with the out of towners and then head over to JT early for the precocktail party in the lounge room. Different situation for us though since my parents aren't from LI, sorry I can't help!

Ugh, this is the same crap I was going through last week. I originally planned on having the parents come with us to take pics in between. Now FIL's are talking about hosting something (like a pre-CH-CH) at the hotel where we blocked so they can make sure everyone else has a place to go.
So as of now I can honestly say.........I have no freaking idea

I just assumed they'd come with us to take pictures and whatnot. If anything they can just go to the hotel like everyone else. I don't think anyone is going to want to entertain.

I'm kinda thinking that they will come to the RH with us to take pictures. Let's see...My ceremony starts at 2, will probably be over by 2:30. By time we get going it will be at least 3:30 (between saying hello to everyone who came to the Church and taking pictures). Then the cocktail hour starts at 6 BUT its 40 minutes away.
Yeah, I think if they do make a stop at my house it will only be to use the bathroom. My mom wants to have refreshments at the house for the people who DON'T live in Astoria and came to the Church (in other words- hardly anyone). But she is going to have this lady who used to take care of my grandmother stay at the house and lock up when everyone leaves.

My parents are coming to the RH and to take pictures with me but my aunt is going to go to my parents house and set up coffee and pastries for guest to go to before the reception.

For those of you whose parents are going back home in between.. did you just schedule extra hours for the limos if they are going to take your parents back to the hall?
This is the only wedding thing so far that i can't figure out the logistics of it.

My family is staying with us since they are riding in the LimoBus also although we are only taking pics at the church and the RH and my RH offers the early arriver's wine and cheese room. So they will get their pics out of the way then go greet any guests in there

I am not having alot of time between the church and CH- the curch is at 11 by the time we get out 11:45 and the CH is at 1. i think they will be just going to the RH
