For you girls who still live at home... umm.. what are u doing with any wedding/engagement/shower gifts that you have or will receive?

Right now most are at FH's house in his basement but that's going to get cramped real fast and i have no real room in my house. As it is bridal magazines are taking over my room.

right now in my basement..

next year fh and i are moving into his parents basement to save money, and all our stuff will prob go in his old room until we get a house..im the same way i want everything new!!

as of right now theyre in fh's basement, but we should have our house before the shower happens

we didn't register yet just for that reason lolol.. we're hoping to move out this summer.. then we'll go crazy with our scan guns!!

i don't live at home with my parents but that is still where all my engagement gifts are...i just don't have the room for them.

hahaha-i am totally with u! all out engagement gifts are in FH basment and my room is surrounded my bridal magazines/bridal paraphanelia...i cant wait to move out and put everything in our new house!!!

prob our dining room (we dont have a basement and our dining room is not ever used) or FH's basement

Omg, I have a huge shopping bag filled of bridal magazines. FH has space to keep the gifts; but I don't want him to. His mom makes a big deal about opening gifts for events like these; she wants to keep a record of everything. Which I understand is for thank-you cards, but she goes overboard. She photocopies things and makes you read out each card, etc. She did this for my FSIL baby shower and I refuse to do this for my gifts. She had FH videotape FSIL opening her gifts; that was a little excessive for me.

So, to answer your question, I will be keeping them in our basement.

Omg we have them everywhere! Behind the couches, garage,grandma's house, closet, even under my desk at work!!

My Fh gets so mad when I ask if he can take something bc he thinks iam nuts that i buy things for when we are married already!
