For those of you still looking for a Florist...LONG

For those of you still looking for a Florist...LONG

I just booked my Florist this past week. I looked at two other places but finally decided to go with a low key, small florist called Flower Patch. It's located on Hawkins Ave. in Lake Ronkonkoma. My Brother-In-Law is a friend of the owner, but she did not give me a discount...I paid full price and she is very reasonable! She did my sister's wedding flowers and they looked amazing...and they stayed that way all day long! The owner's name is Nancy...she is the person that you would speak to, the person who would make your bouquets/centerpieces, and the person to deliver them. With this kind of personal service, you are bound to get what you want. She is not your typical 'wedding florist,' so if you are looking for this type of place, then she isn't for you. But, if you are looking for simple, beautiful flowers at a great price...then you should meet with her.

I hope that I was able to help at least one of you still looking for a Florist. Please, feel free to ask any other questions.

Jessica,

Flowers are next on my list! Would you mind telling me what you are paying and what you are getting. Also, since I haven't met with any florists yet, I am not sure what a 'typical wedding florist' is. Can you tell me what is different about your florist? Thanks!
