did you use a salesperson to guide you or did you do it alone? Did you feel a salesperson was helpful or pushy? Thanks

i registered with a salesperson helping at first, at BBB in westbury at the source mall. honestly, she helped us in the beginning, just to get us started...and then let us take it from there. i found she was helpful in letting us know where to go, and how to work the 'gun'. not pushy at all.

as a matter of fact, she went above and beyond. cause when the gun stopped working....we had to write down all the UPC codes...and she kept finding us in the store, every 15 min. and taking the sheet and entering them into our registry manually....by the time we got home and checked it online---it was ALL there!

We didn't use a sales person and I liked it that way. Not sure if i would have wanted someone helping us.

I used the bridal consultant at bbb in westbury she was absolutely wonderful - her name was Annette

To be honest, I did very little in the store and did 90% on-line. At Fortunoff, I did my China, Flatware & stemware in person and they were a big help matching things and getting us out of there ASAP. The rest I did in the comfort of my home and took my time.

IMO, I felt the store was a little too much and we were second guessing ourselves

The same for us. We live together already so we didn't register for a ton of stuff. If we were starting off fresh it may have made sense to have a salesperson help us.

The onyl thing we used the salesperson for was the china.... they didn't have all the pieces out (i.e. gravy boat, vegetable bowls, etc. etc.) so she scanned those in for us. other than that, once wefigured out how to use the gun we were on our own. i did take mom... and she was more helpful then a salesperson...after 34 years of marriage and 4 kids she knew what we will need!

the only time i used the salesperson was when doing my china - they type in a code that puts in the # of place settings you need - it only took about 5 minutes

We did it on our own. It wasn't so bad.

We did it alone. I didn't want someone following me around persuading me to put something on that I really did not want!

i registered at fortunoffs and did not use a salesperson the whole time, just on things i didnt know about. like place settings and crystal.. that was very helpful.. otherwise i liked walking around by ourselves
