How often do you cook dinner?
When FH was working 'normal' hours I would usually cook 4-5 nights a week. Now he works till 9 so I don't have to hehehhe

He doesn't get home until 10 so I am on my own everynight, but I try to cook on the weekends. I, unlike all of my friends, can cook and like to do it. I wish he was home at a more decent time to do it more often.

lol my friends dont cook either. one of my married friends goes 'oh wow, you coooook??' ummm yea how the heck else are we going to eat??? shes too silly!!

I was doing a majority of the cooking but I enjoy it. My Fh only cooks one meal- turkey burgers and tater tots!
But now I am dieting so I don't cook big meals anymore. I cook about once a week and only healthy stuff so my FH fends for himself if he doesn't want to eat what I am eating.

I am very lucky...my FH loves to cook. It works out very well, he cooks and I do the dishes. I couldn't be happier!!!

Same here. I do try to cook sometimes though, but he gets home so much before me.

I have always been the one to cook and enjoy it. However over the years it used to be 4-5 times a week and now its like 2-3 times a week with leftovers usually for the in between days because of shool. And Friday and saturday is often eat out and order in days. It works out. Honestly I prefer to eat home cooked meals more often then ordering or going out.

FH cooks WAY more than I do....I hate cooking!

Every night and I make him lunch every day...here's why. My FH really does everything aroudn the house: cleans/ vacuums/ laundry/ handyman/ carman, etc. I mean he literally does everything (we get in moods where we HAVE to clean the house and then our moods switch off an on) SO I do it because its something I can do to at least try to contribute to the relationship

I cook on the weekends for both of us, FH cleans. He works from 8:30 to 5:30, then comes home at 10:15 from school. He eats most of his meals out. The weekdays, I eat out more often than not.

FH usually cooks because he enjoys it, is good at it, and gets home at 2:30 as opposed to me at 6:00. He knows if he wants to eat dinner at a reasonable time he'll have to cook or we order out - otherwise we'll be eating at 8:00 every night! He does a lot around the apartment too - I'm very lucky:)

I do the bulk of the cooking but DH normally cooks twice a week. He is learning and I take my time teaching him since he's never had to cook more than pasta or simple dishes. We found he makes a mean beef stroganoff!

He works late so i have not cook in awhile. but it is usually a far deal i will do 3 and the rest he wil cook. But since he has been working alot i been eating dinner by myself or dont' eat at all.

I try to cook 4-5 times a week, and FI will cook 1 or 2 times a week, but his meals consist of frozen foods, so I prefer to cook, then he gets to clean

I do all the cooking which is only about 2 or 3 times a week or less (he works midnights)
He cleans.

That the rule whoever cooks doesnt clean.

We usually cook together/separately. Meaning we hardly ever cook meals for eachother. We have a very unique relationship when it comes too food which is pretty funny. I am a seafood eating vegeatarian and he is a ONLY meat and potatoes (and pasta) eater. So we hardly ever eat the same thing. I LOVE to cook so it was a hard adjustment but for special nights I make him a really nice steak and he just loves it.

FH is in law school and this semester he doesn't get home before nine oclock 3 nights a week. So i could 2 nights during the week and am fortunate to have my parents live close so i eat there twice a week. We usually go out to eat and cook together on the weekends.
