For those of you using an aisle runner....

I have two questions:
1) If you look in my album and see the pics of my church, with the red carpet, would a white aisle runner look OK?

2) I want a custom one with our monogram that doesnt cost a small fortune...where did you all get yours?

They are in the city...they have beautiful runners, but a bit pricey...I just called for a quote...$525

We used The Original Runner Co for our aisle runner, and I couldn't have been happier with it! I highly recommend them. (pics in my review)

They are pricey BUT with good reason -- their runners are made of a special thick fabric with a non-slip backing ... most of the runners you see out there are thin and flimsy and you would see any pattern in the floor right through them. That was one of my biggest pet peeves when I was researching for my wedding.
