I plan to. Don't know how yet, but since this is done after the wedding, I can hold off in thinking about it.

We are not making our own albums but we are making our own parent ones.

I am not doing thank yous. I have a friend fo the family who will make our albums at wholesale.

Thanks for posting this fashionhag, I wanted to know the same thing.

Shelly3950 - are you not sending any sort of thank you or you're just not sending thank you pictures?

I am probably going with one of the digital albums for us, we are going to do our own parent albums. Thank you's---we are just getting classic Crane's with monogram, possibly putting a wallet sized pic inside, not sure yet.

I plan on making my album. Here are a couple of websites to browse. If you are interseted in making your own.

www.albumhouse.com

www.exposuresonline.com which sell really nice albums (slip in kind).

www.albumsandframes.com sells professional quality albums for half the price it costs to get them from a professional photographer. Of course depending on which one you buy, you will have to buy the mats and inserts as well. Some come with them already. Cost ranges from $150-$200.

I am going to have them do ''OUR' album and make the parents album myself. I really want one of those coffee book type albums so I think it is best I let the professional do it. For the parents album I will do that myself since I am giving them the 'traditional' albums. In terms of using them for thank you's Dom can give you ideas of what past brides have done without using him for it.

I am so clueless. right now, everyone is happy with the DVDs that he made.

We'll probably put a portfolio together of photos for our moms...

I'd like to make our thank-yous. He had some in his studio that were great. I am going to make the parent albums also. If there's $$ left I'd love to splurge for one of those albums he showed us, they were gorgeous.

My FI is a graphic designer so he is going to design the digital album himself and we'll have it printed or whatever through Dominic. He's already helped us get an idea of how to lay the pages out, etc.

As for parent albums, Things Remembered has a great album right now, that holds all different sized pictures, 8x10s, 5x7s, 4x6, etc, so we will probably have those engraved for our parents and make them ourselves.

Haven't thought much about thank yous yet but will probably do them ourselves as well! :)
