It took me about 8 months to get pregnant.
(My daughter is now 10 months old.)
Some people get pregnant right away and others it takes a while.

My husband made me promise him that I would give him 7 months of trying without temping, making it seem like work or telling anyone we were really trying. I had been charting since I was 17 and luckily was a 28 day cycle.

I think taking his stress free approach helped because it took no time. We are also 25 so I think that also helped us out.

It took us 7 months, and we were using a fertility monitor.

We got pregnant on our second try. My mindset was to try for 6 months without stressing myself, luckily it didn't take us that long.

First time it happened in the second month. Miscarried, and then got pg again (by accident) before my first cycle. With me, it always seemed to happen when I stopped trying or thought it wasn't possible that month.

The first month we tried i got pregnant. I never had a normal 28 day cycle...usually between 33-42 days so i used ovulation test strips to tell when i was ovulating and it worked.

The first time it happened on the first try - this time it happened the first month trying again. I have a 35 day cycle and I've never charted. I can tell when I'm ovulating by my CM. Good luck!

We weren't trying and I was on the pill. But a friend of mine has also been trying for 4 months now for baby #2 and she got pg with her first very easily.

I always thought when the time came for us to TTC it would take us a few months so I was always ready for that. Because of the way my pg happened I can't exactly say that I know where you are coming from but I do know other people that have been trying alot longer.

One girl I work with has been trying for years. I don't know if she's tried any fertility treatments yet but I know she's had a rough time. Another woman I work with had been trying for over a year also and she finally got pregnant last month.

It will happen for you. Try not to stress it too much and definitely don't worry about infertility just yet.
