I got Duet's special promo package...photo and video with upgraded coffee table album for $4k plus tax. gratuity is optional.....but how could you NOT tip these guys? They're AWESOME. The promo package without the coffee table album upgrade is $3699 for photo and video...

ETS: the coffeee table album upgrade is $600, but he gave us a $300 discount for booking...

I don't like digital albums, I will have an album made separately, just a small book in this style. FH and are more traditional.

Patken doesn't have a package...
you get what you want and they give you a price based on that...nothing is in stone there

Wait did we get the coffee table album? (hee hee - 'we') Was that the album with the 50-60 pics on 30 pages?

BTW - I got the same package as neesiepie.

We booked Patken...not sure what package we got. I think the way they work is they build a package around you. Basically you tell them what you want and they go from there. We ordered 3 parent books and a Soho for us...I'm soooo excited! We met with Tina...very cool and informative! Good luck!

MC: Patken doesnt have packages written in stone, like Duet? How do they keep control of everything?

Duet's packages are more of a guide. They really are flexible. So please don;t feel that just b/c they have 'packages' that you are stuck with whatever is included in the package....
Honestly, there is SO MUCH in their packages that FI and I didn't even NEED anything more!
Plus, Eric (owner) gave us more thank you's at no charge since we have a large amount of guests.....

well, in your contract...it say you get 'X' amount of This and that....

All the prices are in there heads (well, doug(owner) at least). Like Neepsie said, it's a guide having a package... just say want you want and they make up a number. We ask for multipe parten albums, thanks yous..etc

I got their basic photo and video package.
1 album
2 parent albums
lots of thank you's
3 copies of video
I think it is the $3600 package. I don't remember all the details.

we used patken, but they dont have packages, you just tell em what you want and they give you a quote. My only advice with Patken is give them a must have list..Ive osted this before..but I really wish I did a list..our photographer was talented but had a very different style from what we wanted, I should have specified more black and whites, he hardly did candids..I thought he just automatically knew to do them, NOT the case..Patken has been great though

We went with Duet and got the same package as Neespie and Diamondgirlie but they through in the Casual day shoot instead of an extra discount on the digital album.
We thought it would be great to get to know our photographer and have professional pictures of us the way we normally look not all dressed up.

patken makes up a package based on what you want, when you go in there they'll write it all down and give you a price.. i think they also throw in an engagement shoot with an 8x8 then
a 20 x 20
a 11 x 11
2 8 x 8's ... in addition to what you decide on, but you can always trade those in for other ones....
