I have very oil skin, I love the way airbrushed make-up looks on film, but concerned about how it would hold up. Can any of you enlighten me?

I'm in the process of trying to schedule some trials now, so I'd like to know your experiences beforehand.

I think my MOH dusted me with powder once!

My makeup was done at 11:30 in the morning and lasted all day & night. I think I only reapplied my lipstick twice!

I was the same way. I have normal to dry skin so I'm not how it works if your skin is oily. Def. go for some trials - you'll love it.

My skin is oily & I had airbrushed makeup & it held up great. My makeup was done at noon & I finally washed it off at 4AM!! I did reapply my lipstick, but I have to imagine that is true for everyone.

I just put some powder on once or twice throughout the day. My makeup lasted all day and all night (even in 90 degree weather).

I could be wrong but I don't think it is water based.

I have normal to oily and I had to powder my face a couple of times. But, I loved the makeup and if I had to do it again, I would! The makeup feels so light on you. YOu would think it would feel caked but not at all, very light.

I would get a trial if your still nervous about it.

I really didn't like it at all. way too little coverage and it made my skin look dry. they put a layer of oil over it at the end which i didn't like at all.
In my opinion - the mineral makeups are much better. They stay on forever (Bare Minerals, Sheer Cover and Jane Iredale are popular) and anyone can do it thmeselves.
I was really disappointed with airbrushing. you cannot cover any blemishes with it and concealer looks cakey over it

Have you tried Sheer Cover...I saw that commercial and thought of trying it......How was your experience with it? Is it worth it?

I have the worlds oilest skin - I put makeup on and 30 minutes later I'm shiny. The airbrush on me worked wonders!!!!!! I would def. recommend it.
