Did you ever get spotting like the bleach bled through? Is there anything that could be done? TIA

I get highlights all the time, but I have no idea what you mean by bleach bleeding through.

I have never heard of that and I get highlights. I don't want to scare you, but something sounds wrong...

Are you talking about doing it at home or the salon? If your hairdresser uses foils, there shouldn't be any bleed through.

I don't get highlights but am familiar with the process- this isn't anything I have heard of from a salon....if it's a home highlighting issue you may have to go to a salon to get it fixed...

I know exactly what you are referring to but no, I never had bleach bleed...I am sure there is a way to fix it though.

Re: For those of you who get hilites...
I once got coppery hilites (i have dark hair) and they bled and my hair was bright red on top, and streaked the way it was supposed to on the bottom. It was a sloppy job by the colorist, and even when she tried to fix it, she couldn't do that much because it would damage my hair... definitely go back to where you got it done, they should be able to do something.

Thanks girls! It doesn't look as bad today! I am afraid if I go back, it would just damage my hair even more. I am gonna wait it out and see what happens within the next few days!

You should go back. It doesnt always damage your hair to fix it. Besides they should have been more careful to make sure it doesn't happen.

Yeah, but did a professional hair salon do this to you? If so, I'd go back........and ask the girl '*** she did'?
I'm sure you paid enough for the job to be done right!

Re: For those of you who get hilites...
That happened to me once. Wait a few days. I ended up getting a depositing shampoo to cover it til it faded instead of dying my hair b/c I was afraid it was going to fall out. Also you can try a temp. hair color system, not as damaging. Artec makes a good one for blonds actually. Very subtle, but it covers the damage for the time being.
