It was a veritable monsoon on our wedding day, and pretty much all of June too! We took pics inside The Royalton. I see you're getting married at Leonards. They have great spots for indoor photos. Had you planned to take any pics there?

We did rain pics outside and they were awesome...consider it! Unbrellas under a tree? sitting on a bench with the umbrellas? Puddle pics? Bring a change of shoes or some rain boots?

Sorry, Im a huge obsessor with rain pics!

Our Plan B was Hempstead House at Sands Point. We wound up not needing it, though.

Also, if Old Westbury Gardens has availability, they do allow you to take pictures inside if it's raining.

Did you book it solely as a Plan b? Did you get your money back when you didn't use it?

We made an appointment at the very last minute, so I don't know if the rules normally vary. We told them that it was our Plan B and that we would be taking photos only if the weather was not good. We were not charged because we wound up not going there.

We were SUPOSED to take pics at whitestone bridge but it poured as soon as we were leaving the church. The photographer got most of our formal shots inside the church before 5 o'clock mass.

However, once we got to the RH the rain let up. Go figure.

We took pics in the parking lot and they came out fabulous. Still, I am dissappointed that we didnt get our great shots by the bridge.

I wonder if you can use the Cradle of Aviation Museum for pics?
