for those of you who have visited westbury manor...

I am getting the larger room but. I really don't know what color scheme to choose since the rug is red, the rug stands out alot...I want my BM dresses to be purple but dont' know if that will contrast well with the room. Also flowers, I really don't know what to get lol or what color shceme to choose and don't want to choose wine/burgundy because FH's brother's theme was burgundy so i kind of want to keep it away from that

i was thinking that the rug was gonna kill my theme but when i went to sign my contract there was a wedding going on and her colors were baby blue n white n honestly u dnt even look at the rug once the flowers n everything is on the table n the chair covers... the rug is just there lol it doesnt stand out as much

To be honest, the rug doesn't stand out at all once the room is set up for weddings. I went there for a wedding in august and the bride used pink sashes on the chair and pink napkins and her BM's dresses were a lilac color and her centerpieces were pink and purple. I didn't notice the carpet AT ALL! The room seriously transform for each wedding, and it's great that they have a lot of chair sashes and napkins to choose from. Go with the colors you want. The tables will cover the rugs and your colors will transform the room. People are going to be looking at YOU, not the rug!

if you want to go with purple then you should. i am sure no one will even notice the red rug once its all set up!

both times i went to visit westbury manor they were set up for weddings and not once did i even notice the carpet. it's your wedding, do whatever color you want.

honestly I didn't even notice a rug lol!!!! Thankfully when I visited the room it just happend to be decorated with my colors so it looked gorgeous!!!
