For those of you who picked out BM dresses ...

do they match your gown?? Did you pick out one element of your dress and use that?? Are they completely different from your dress?

I'm having a hard time deciding what I want

Mine are totally different. I've seen it both ways though. My bridesmaids dont feel comfortable in strapless, so I decided it was more important that they felt comfortable. Either way it will be beautiful!

there match sort of. the ribbon band in the middle and v-neck straps match in my dress and my bm dress.

My dress is strapless and the girls have straps with a V neck! I guess it depends on the dress and the fabric. My bm dress is in my album, in that color!

Yeah, I don't think mine have anything in common with my dress at all. Except that we are all wearing strapless.

The BM dresses are NOTHING like my dress, but I like that it's not gonna be that everyone looks the same, it's nice to have some variety

funny you should ask this.... I just picked the BM dresses today..... my MOH will have a similar gown to me.... I have pickups on my dress and so will she.... my girls will have similar flowers to the ones on my gown on theirs

I can't think of one thing that is the same out about mine but I think they sort of go together in that they are both pretty simple in silhouette and style.

yes, they did. they have pretty similar necklines (strapless with a slight scoop) and similar silhouettes -- A-line, except mine is fuller and had pick ups. they also were similar fabric, mine was raw silk and theirs was tissue taffeta and they were each lightweight, summery and had a slight sheen to it.

i didnt think they were too matchy matchy but i think they went well together. pix in my albums

Mine are NOTHING like my dress at all. Maybe they are both A-Line, but mine is HUGE ... ha... and theirs are tea lengths... with sheer on it... better to just show pics...

I will have the FGs have a simular style as mine, but with a little color trim on the bottom that will match the BMs. I let my MOHs pick out the dresses... And, at that point I didn't even know what dress I aws getting... lol

Mine are different, but I didnt really think about it. I didnt keep my dress in mind to either match or not match. I jsut picked what i liked in general.
