Did you find that items there were hard for people to find or got discontinued frequently? FH and i were thinking about registering there in addition to BBB but i feel like everytime i go there they have different items (like everyday kitchenware, etc.) i love the everyday china they have there It is inexpensive (wont break the bank for our guests) and nice, and also the fact that they have a wide variety of things such as electronics, sporting goods, games, etc. but i dont want to have problems with everything getting discontinued. What do you girls think?? What are your experiences. Also FH and i went to buy someone something off of their registry there and we had so much trouble finding things!
My other thought was Sears...

Re: For those of you who registered at Target...
Honestly, if you're going to register at Target, you would have to wait until closer to whenever you think your shower might be, or closer to your wedding date. They change their inventory kinda often so whatever you put on your registry may not be available a month or 4 later.

i didnt register at Target but i did find that what we registered for at Crate & Barrel got discontinued frequently or was out of stock all the time!
We ended up buying a lot of stuff for ourselves because everything goes half price when it's being discontinued and we didn't want to end up with part of a set.
I'd wait to register so you dont get your heart set on something that will be discontinued -- unless you want to buy it yourself!

Re: For those of you who registered at Target...
I registered at Target & I regreated it. I had to return some things and they gave me the lowest selling price even though it was on the registry. So I got 10 bucks for $80 worth of towels. And they have some crazy policy that you can't return something without a receipt over $20 more then once a year or something. I don't know what the guy was talking about but all I know is it was a big aggrivation. I wouldn't reccomend registering there.

That *****! That is why BBB is so great -- they let you return for full price even without a receipt (you just get store credit instead but if you spend less than the full amount you can get the balance back in cash) even though most people buy with the 20% off coupons.

I registered for Taget for my e-party but I have heard so many bad things about them (including not marking an item as purchased after someone bought it) so I am planning on cancelling the target registry and going to BBB (easy returns + cash back).

Re: For those of you who registered at Target...
I would not register at Target. Their return policy is horrible. If someone gets you two of something you cannot return it if you do not have a receipt so your sc.rewed.
I was registered at crate and barrel and at one point 90% of our reigstry was on backorder. I called them and they said that yes, they were getting it back in stock, they were not discontinuing the items but still it's like that does not help if people want to get you a shower gift b/c you're supposed to bring the gift to the shower.
We ended up at BBB and Macys. Although I despise Macy's for charging twice as much as what BBB does for their china, flatware, and other assorted items, I registered there b/c if people want to get you china or crystal they can walk in a get you a set, unlike BBB where you have to order it b/c they do not keep it in stock at the store. That is why we went with Macys.

We registered at Target & BBB and had no problems with either one. I didn't have to return anything to Target though, so I don't know how that would have been.

I heard there were problems with registering at Target such as items not being taken off of registry and when you went to try to return the duplicates they wouldn't allow it. You're better of at BB&B.

I wish we could do something about target. Almost everyone I talk to has had horrible experiences. I guess warning other brides is a start

Re: For those of you who registered at Target...
The Target registry is a nightmare. They didn't take anything off the registry and wouldn't take it all the duplicates back, because they 'had no record of a gift purchase'.
OF COURSE THERE'S NO RECORD, THAT'S WHY I HAVE TWO OF THEM, A$$HOLE$!!!!!!!
Honestly, I almost wanted to return everything just for spite.
