For those of you who threw their boyfriend/husband's 30th B-Day party...

What did you do? Dinner party, big blow-out party, family only, friends only???? Please give me some thoughts thanks!

Im planning Mike's 30th...Im thinking the closest family and friends, and my closest family and a few friends (35 peeps), dinner at Cavo followed by a full night of debauchery at Cavo...what do you think?

I like your setup with the friends and family at Cavo...since they have an option to leave afterwards (familY) the friends can stay and party like you said.

I know Hollie just threw John an awesome 30th Bday party, but the post is on LIF....and I don't have access to that here...

His sister and I organized a surprise 30th for him. We had it at a restaurant for about 30 ppl. Instead of dinner, we picked a catering menu which was more buffet style which encouraged everyone to mingle and have fun. He was really surprised and everyone had a great time.

Al turned 30 the month before our wedding, so I just threw him a house party with about 20 peeps. If I had the funds I would have done something more along the lines of what you want to do. I think that sounds great!
