For those of you who used faux wax 'successfully'

Any tips??????

I tried for hours and none of them came out perfectly!!! Is there a secret trick to them? I don't get it....

I have the LOVE seal, it's just not working out the way I hoped

none of mine came out perfectly. But, in my opinion, it just shows that they really were done by hand!

How much wax did you use per stamp? How long did you hold the stamp? How much time between when the wax hit the page and you pushed the stamp in?
Did you make sure to lift the stamp correctly at the end?
I know all of that seems silly, but for me it all made a difference.

I think they look fine -- the way they are supposed to look!!

those don't look bad at all! Try using a few drops less and you won't have as much excess on the sides.
Also, if you have not done so, purchase an exacto knife, it will help in cutting away some of the excess as well.

They look fine to me.

If you want to highlight the 'love' a littel more, you could add a little silver or gold ink to the stamp while pressing on the hot glue.

If you want less 'ooze' on the outside, just use less wax...or press down less.

I vaguely remember reading that you are supposed to do something with ICE when you work with faux wax.

Sorry I cannot help any more.

ETA: Maybe this link will help!

I used them to seal the inner envelopes. Here are mine. I used Treasure gold to make them stand out more:

Mine weren't perfect either!
