I was wondering what she charged you to take in your dress and if your dress needed shortening what the ball park figure was. I know that the cost will vary on how difficult the dress is to alter, but would like to see what other folks paid.
TIA!!

Alterations are capped with Phyllis for a wedding gown - $150
This includes, among other things, a hem and bustle (not a complicated double French but a bustle is included)

$150 if you bought your dress from her. She has a cap of $150 for all alterations

Thanks guys! If you didn't buy your dress from her does she still honor the alt. cap? I am planning on buying my bridesmaid dresses from her .... maybe I can negotiate the cap based on that?

i plan on bringing my bm's to her for alterations and my mom will need alterations too. I am thinking about having my dress altered with her as well since Bridal Reflections charges so much money.

Re: for those of you who used phyllis
I've been reading about Phyllis for months and I finally hauled my cookies to Northport to meet with her to design my wedding dress and everything I heard is ABSOLUTELY TRUE! She was fantastic, I'm really looking forward to working with her. Thank you everyone for your rave (and spot on) reviews of Phyllis!!!

I believe that the cap applies even if you didn't get your dress from her.
However, I was only able to give her a C in my review. There were a few problems, some if which I haven't even mentioned on here. It did all work out in the end but there was stress for me and my BMs.
