My RSVP date is 2 weeks away and I've received less than 1/2 of my replies back. I was just wondering were the response cards that you received the last week or two 'No's'.?? I realize everyone is different. I was just curious.

Re: ? for those of you who's RSVP dates have passed?
I am having the same issue People have the nerve to say they will verbally respond. No you will not when I spent 300 dollars in stamps.

LOL OYE this happened to us-people started responding THE WEEK AFTER the rsvp date and ONLY becasue that was the week of my bridal shower and I ahd to lay the daisy bride smackdown on em!
-chuckles- You will ahve to track em down. People are just self-absorbed sometimes. I mean FH and I made it SOOOO easy. We stamped and addressed the outer envelopes AND the inner with OUR adderss AND theirs! Even wrote their NAMES on the rsvp card. All they had to do was check 'yes' or 'no' and drop it back into the mail. But people seem to like procrastinating. So we had to chase.
-loves on em- It will be ok! Just start throwing out your fishing hooks!

My phone calls start next week...Our RSVP is this Saturday, and we have about half back. Unfortunately, the guests have until the 31st to book the room, so we HAVE to have answers next week to make sure they have the correct paperwork!!

I second that!!! Stamps dont just grow on trees people!! Put the stupid thing in the mail and send it back! How hard is that? My rsvp date was 3 days ago and Im still missing 70 or so answers! I sent out an email to our friends yesterday and reminded them that I need them to mail it back & not just 'tell' us that their coming! Most of them were like, 'Oh right...sorry we forgot' (idiots) I hate everyone today!

Ugh, what is so hard about putting in the mailbox. I'm not looking forward to this process. I don't think the slackers are necessarily no's. I know this b/c my brother is guilty of missing RSVP dates even when he's coming. One of my friends (a guy) just asked me if I could just not even send him the response card...just mark down that he's coming. Um, he really wasn't kidding. I told him no, he's been lazy and ridiculous. And I told him that I want the card back for my scrap book. which is a complete lie, but I think it might work.
