For those registered for china..(small vent included)

The price of my Lenox set has been fluctuating for the past year. It started at 79.50 then went down to 69.00 then skyrocked to 129.00 then it was back down to 65.50. At that time, two place settings were bought. Now, with my shower three weeks away, it is up to 89.95 a place setting!!! That is more than I wanted to have people spend in the first place. I don't think that it is fair for people to pay a billion different prices for the same stuff.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is there anything I can do about it?

i just started hearing about this! i didnt know they could up prices.

i dont know if there is anything u can do , maybe call and talk w/ someone, but i dont know if they would change it or not

Yeah, this is pretty annoying. But unfortunately I don't think there is anything to be done about it.

Most stores show a base price on their china which I think stays the same. Its the sale price that changes and stores are always running sales. When I registered I asked the salesperson about the promotion they were running on the pattern I liked and she warned me not to pick based on the sale price.

Maybe you can warn your bridal party and close friends about this -- tip 'em off to shop around.

My sister and I went in on a shower gift - 10 wine glasses at $15 dollars each.

The shower is in a week or so and I just checked her registry and now the glasses are $5 each!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate it when the registry prices fluctuate!
