I got an insert so both rings will be together when they are placed on my finger. Read post too fast.I'm not getting pictures before ceremony but if I was then I would wear it on my left hand as usual.

I'm not sure if it's bad to do so, but I would wear both rings if I was taking pics before the ceremony.. I would want it to appear as though we were already married in the pics, no?

I will wear my ering on my left hand. I plan on wearing it on my left hand after the wedding too.

I won't make any special efforts to appear married in the preceremony photos since all of our guests will know we took photos before hand when we arrive at the cocktail with them.

For me, the photos were meant to be a record of the day -- so my engagement ring was on my left hand as usual and my wedding ring was not there. Thats who I was during the pictures!

I had pictures taken before...and had my ering on my right hand, b/c the w band is supposed to go on first...I have a few pictures of my ering alone...and for that fact...I probably will not use them...

then I found a great picture for our thank you...but someone noticed that my left hand was showing with no rings...I asked the photographer to reverse the negative...so now it just looks like my right hand...

we took some ring shots after the ceremony....
