For those that are sending invitations soon (Stamps)

Ok, I went to the post office yesterday and I don't know if some of you are having issues with your invitations not able to process your invitation through the machine. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW, PLEASE GO TO THE POST OFFICE TO FIND OUT.

Apparently, if your invitation does not go through the machine, you will have to pay an additional .17 cents on top of the .58 cents per invitation.

This happened to me so it's .75 cents for the outter envelope and .41 for the rsvp.

What I decided to do which is not a bad idea is if you do have to pay the .17 cents extra you will get stuck with the bighorn sheep on the front of your invitation.

I purchased the old .39 stamps (love/wedding stamps online) and I am putting 2 - .39 cent stamps on the front and .39 cent stamp with a .2 cent stamp on the rsvp. It doesn't look bad at all.

Just an idea if anyone is stumped. Sorry so long, but this seems to be an issue lately with alot of us sending out invitations.

yep, i did two .24 cent stamps that I loved for my outer and inner. my outer didnt need any more than that.

also, they didnt charge me anything extra to hand cancel mine. and they werent going to charge extra if they were going to put them thru the machine either.
